Our Founder
Daniel Deveau, a Toronto native, found his calling in the Kawartha Lakes after relocating in September 2020. His weekends spent in Bobcaygeon since childhood transformed into a permanent residence where the sense of community, generosity, and the quintessential small-town charm captivated him. This connection prompted a desire to preserve and elevate the unique ethos—what one might call the 'soul'—of this place. Daniel, a lifelong learner with aspirations for leadership, carries the legacy of his upbringing by two loving parents and alongside two brothers. His journey is a testament to the power of community bonds and the spirit of continuous learning.
